Damaged Goods

Please check the packaging when the goods are delivered and check that the AC unit is delivered standing upright. 

If the packaging is damaged, possibly due to incorrect handling of the goods in transit, please contact our office as soon as possible on 042 3575 6311 (mobile 0310 571 6505) during office hours, no later than 3 days after delivery.  

If you can, please use a mobile phone to send a photograph of the goods as delivered to you. 

Our engineer will provide guidance on how to check whether the goods are in a satisfactory condition for use.

If necessary we will arrange for replacement goods to be sent you and for the damaged goods to be returned.

Refund

If you are not satisfied with the goods supplied to you, you can send the goods back for a refund within 3 days of delivery. 

To be eligible for a refund, you must

  1. Arrange return of the goods with our office staff on 042 3575 6311 (mobile 0310 571 6505) during office hours.
  2. Return the goods in the original packaging
  3. Ensure that the goods are in brand new condition

A refund will only be paid in full if the goods are received in saleable condition.  A partial refund may be offered on damaged goods after assessment to determine whether the damage occurred in transit.

Warranty

Close Comfort products come with a 12 month warranty (2 years on AC compressor).  Full details including the claim procedure are provided on the product warranty card packed with the goods.  You must retain your sales receipt: warranty service will only be provided to the original customer.
